EUDR

 EU DEFORESTATION REGULATION

EUDR – Our working method from januari 2026

Starting in January 2026, Poldimar will begin working towards full compliance with the EUDR (European Union Deforestation Regulation) guidelines by the end of 2026.

This means that our products will meet the requirements for deforestation-free and transparent supply chains.

Our approach

We implement a full due diligence-systeem (DDS) , in which we:

  • collect all mandatory origin and geolocation data,
  • ensure full traceability of product flows,
  • assess risks and mitigate them where necessary.

DDS-number on your delivery note

Starting in january 2026, we will start including DDS-numbers on delivery notes, so you can immediately see that the product is already EUDR-compiant.
*This is not yet mandatory for wood-related products imported into the EU before the end of 2026*

Sustainable together

With these steps, we ensure a transparent supply chain and support our suppliers and customers in complying with the EUDR.

For furniture stores / traders

According to the EUDR , furniture stores that sell wooden products must register as traders. This means they must be able to demonstrate that the products they sell are EUDR-compliant. And fulfill registration with  TRACES NT – Trade Control and Expert System.

That's why, starting in 2026 we'll be listing the available DDS-numbers for each product on every deliver note so you, as a retailer, can easily comply with this requirement.
and if your store is inspected, you'll only need to present the delivery notes.
